This African working drummer was found in an Oxfam shop a few years ago. It was a second-hand item and I think I paid a couple of quid.
I can't help but be impressed with he ability of some to make something as simple, and yet naively complicated as this drummer. The winding handle when turned causes the little chap to bang with alternative hands the polish tin top. I know that I wouldn't be able to make one like it, as neatly as this one, and so I had to buy it.
