Christmas Celebration in America (The)

One of two similar booklets from the early/mid 1960's that I have, produced for the Americans and I purchased both from Ebay a few years ago, probably about 2010. A few pounds each including postage seemed reasonable and I've seen none before or since. Prpared by Melva and Otto Ruprecht, their front page dedication tells us, 'It is a genuine pleasure to extend our sincere wishes for a truly happy holiday season. May the New Year be filled with all good things for you and yours.' The booklet tells about the White House Christmas Tree, Carolers at Beacon Hill, The Yule Log at williamsburg, La Posadas, Tucson, The Christmas Bells of America, The trombone choir, Bethlehem, Philadelphia, Mission Dolores, San Francisco and The General Grant, the Nation's Christmas Tree, 4000 years old, 267 feet tall and 6500 feet above sea level in Kings Canyon National Park near Sangar, California.
