Another purchase as a result of an advert I placed in the local newspaper. I got the call and went round to the house. As I walked in there was a 95% restored mid 1930's Sunbeam motor cycle in the front room. £800 would have got me the Motor Cycle, but I got the 'Don't even think about it' look from my wife- I snook in a secret thought while she wasn't looking and seemed to get away with it. I ended up buying this 1930's Bagatelle Game complete with the original cue and balls. The larger pink ball in the photograph is not from the game but came with it. I also bought several early Codd bottles bearing Nottingham drinks manufacturers embossed names and a set of three Victorian chapel-hat-pegs and a few other bits and pieces. The Sunbeam stayed behind. The old Sunday School hymn 'Jesus wants me for a Sunbean' appears not to apply in my case!
